  • 85g low-fat biscuit (we used WeightWatchers ginger biscuits)
  • 200g tub extra-light soft cheese
  • 200g tub 0% fat Greek yogurt
  • 4 tbsp caster sugar
  • few drops vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp good-quality strawberry jam
  • 100g strawberry, hulled and sliced



    Once available in Britain for just a brief period during the summer, strawberries are now a year…


  1. Put the biscuits in a plastic bag and bash with a rolling pin until you have chunky crumbs. Divide between 4 glasses or small bowls.

  2. Beat the soft cheese, yogurt, sugar and vanilla together until smooth, then spoon over the crumbs and chill until you are ready to serve.

  3. Stir the jam in a bowl until loose, then gently stir in the strawberries. Divide the strawberries between the cheesecakes and serve.

You'd never tell this was a low fat recipe, it was absolutely gorgeous! So easy to make too, easily put together before dinner for a quick pudding.

I may also serve it in smaller portions for small appetites though, it was a generous helping each!

Quick, easy and low fat - what more do you want? I used Weightwatchers ginger and lemon cookies, and replaced the strawberries with some fresh rhubarb cooked with a little ginger, and replaced the vanilla with a drop of limoncello - perfect!

Can you assemble the crumb base and cheese mixture and chill over night? Advice wanted!

THink i chilled too long as when i came to eat biscuits were soggy.
Think next time i'll do all in one and serve. Jam made it a little sickly.
Quick and easy to do but think i'll go for a full fat cheescake next time lol. 4 out of 6 wernt keen

Excellent and entirely simple recipe to follow. Fantastic for small dinner parties with friends. Gives an excellent flavour and is aesthetically pleasing. 5 stars!

I put mine in tea cups rather than glasses which was a bit different.

I made this for dinner party and it went down a storm! Those that weren't on low fat diet had chocolate flake stuck in the top and I mixed strawbs into the yoghurt amd cream cheese mix - was very good! great recipe.

Instead of soft cheese, what can you recommend. I want to try this recipe but I'm pregnant and therefore staying away from soft cheese. Can anyone suggest an alternative?

Lovely pud! I used peaches mixed with raspberry jam for the topping. Used low fat youghurt and low fat Philly for the cheesecake but added some gelatine to make it set. Used slightly less sugar too!

For a low-fat dessert you really can't beat this!
It's so tasty, easy to make - I didn't use correct amounts as I only made it for two I roughly added ingredients and it still worked out great, and it's very quick.
The ginger nuts and strawberries work surprisingly well together. I will make this one again.

Oh to feel guilty - sorry but I didn't like this low fat version of something that is meant to be an indulgence. Having said that my husband enjoyed it.

O.M.G Delicious XD, It was lovely with just the Cheese and Yogurt and Sugar Mixed together, I added an extra few drops though so you can't taste the soft cheese. OMG It was to die for. Its better than some that you buy in the shops :) Defo Making it again :)

I made this for my sister and brother-in-law as he has recently been put on a low fat diet. I could not get any WW biccies or total 0% greek yoghurt so used ginger nuts and ordinary low fat greek yoghurt instead. I also added a teaspoon of honey to the biscuit crumbs to help them stick together. The cheesecake part did not set (this might be due to the wrong yoghurt), so we didn't think it really was very cheesecakey, but all agreed that it was quite tasty for a healthy pud.
