- Heat the wine, 200ml water, grenadine (if using - this will add a pink tinge), and the sugar until dissolved. Add the peaches and poach for 15-20 minutes or until tender. Slip off the skins.
- Reduce the liquid to a syrup. Serve each peach with whipped cream, some syrup and pistachios.
