Very moreish and went down a treat with everyone. I split the batch and put dark chocolate chips in one of them which was really nice.

Made these, very easy recipe bound well together and cooked quickly at 170 centigrade in about 10 minutes. The children enjoyed making shapes with cutters and the dough held well. Made them for the local fete and they were a hit. Will definitely use again.

This is a totally awsome recipe... I made tones of shortbread and even mixed it with chocolate chunks which also tasted great. I highly recomend this as they are so simple to make!!

I have made this twice now and it is absolutely amazing! My work colleagues and Gramp think its soo tasty, the biscuits don't last long! I use a cheap vanilla essence (couldn't find a quality extract in my Sainsbury's) but it still tastes great!

try this, instead of the vanilla, add coffee flavoring (I added until the dough mix had a pleasant coffee aroma), makes a really good coffee break treat!

I have just notice on this recipe it does not give the temp or time to cook, so I've taken the liberty of looking up a similar recipe to find out this info for anyone looking at this recipe. This is from the recipe for Lemon Star Biscuits. TEMP:180c/gas4/fan160c. TIME:18-20mins. If you turn the biscuit over when you think they are cooked and give it a little tap, if it feels firm and sounds like a bought biscuit when you tap it, then it's cooked. Hope this is of some help.
