  Lovely and simple to make. Very tasty and pretty to look at. Made these with two pupils I work with in primary and they were a big hit both with the children and in the staffroom!! We used Morrisons chocolate coloured balls to decorate. Brilliant!

  The simplest little cakes I have ever made! I covered with a ready made chocolate and caramel topping and a chocolate ball on top, again big hit with children and adults.

  Really easy to make. The banana gives the cakes good texture and a subtle flavour. I just used the water icing and sprinkled on hundreds & thousands.

  Just made these and they smell amazing! Have not tasted as they are for my sons school fair - so maybe I should make some more just to make sure!! Really easy and a great way to use up over ripe bananas

  Excellent- added coffee buttercream on top and also added some walnuts to cake batter. Banana coffee walnut tastic!

  I loved these cupcakes with a subtle banana flavor. I used water icing with some hundreds and thousands on. I thought the cake mix was too watery when I was spooning it into the cases but resulted in a nice moist cake. Great for taking to bake sale.

  These are very good for little cakes, sometimes they can be a bit dry. Managed to get 10 good sized fairy cakes out of this recipe. They were very light and tasty. Drizzled M&S white chocolate fudge sauce over the top.

  I love this recipe, so easy and really tasty cakes. It is the first Banana Cake recipe I have made where they do not stick to the cake cases! I will definitely be making these again, great for lunchboxes.

  These were lovely... although I didn't follow the recipe to the letter! I used only 90g of sugar. I also used slightly too much Flora Cuisine (the liquid stuff that comes in a bottle) and thought the mix looked a little too runny, so added a generous sprinkle of ground almonds. Finally I threw in a very generous handful of chopped walnuts. I didn't ice them as I didn't want them too sweet, so just sifted a little icing sugar over the cakes before serving. Delicious. And very simple. It won't let me save a rating, but I'd give it a 5!
