  2. Stir in the tomato purée, then pour on the stock and simmer for 5-8 mins until the pork is cooked through. Finally, mix in the soured cream and some seasoning. Serve with egg noodles, tagliatelle or rice, and an extra dollop of soured cream, if you like.

The 1.5 tablespoons of smoked paprika is definitely too much. It might be ok with ordinary or sweet paprika, but I didn't put nearly as much as this in and it almost blew our heads off! That said, it was very tasty and a quick mid-week meal.

Very nice dish, and it got the seal of approval from my husband. I added a small amount of garlic and halved the quantities to make just 2 portions. I didn't have smoked paprika so I used normal but upped the amount a little. If you're using reduced fat soured cream I suggest you allow it to cool slightly before adding, so that it doesn't curdle.

Delicious recipe, took previous advice and added a chilli and some parsley, I also added some chorizo which added to the flavour of the dish. Had it with egg noodles this time, however next time I think I will try with rice.

A great midweek family meal - everyone loved it, including my 8 year old and 11 month old! Have served it with fresh tagliatelle which was delicious and have also done it with mash and green beans for a much more hearty meal. If not making for the kids, would try it with a dash of chilli as others have suggested.

This was one of the easiest meals i have ever made , it was so delicious and everyone enjoyed it ,the only difference i made to the recipe was that i had no sour cream ,so i used creme fraiche insteadand it still tasted yummy.

Made this tonight and it was very good but felt it was missing something so I may add a little chilli next time or even some red peppers just to add an extra dimension. I served it with green beans and mash potato due to lack of rice and it worked wonderfully. I will definitely make this again.

Easy peasy and delicious with noodles. I add 1/2 deseeded and finely sliced red chilli to add a little kick because we like a bit of spice! Definately worth a go!

Have made this a couple of times now with egg noodles and we love it. Add lots of pepper and a bit of chilli. Will try with pasta next time but it's a new favourite!

This was really nice, quick to make and very filling. I added some lazy chilli which gave it a nice kick and served it with fine egg noodles which worked really well. Definitely making this one again!

I've had this dish before and it's so tasty. However, I've now discovered I'm lactose intolerant. So for a creamy free, but tasty meal, with a bit of a kick. I tried the following, and it was fantastic: Follow the recipe as above but take out the sour cream. Add: Red pepper (diced) 2 tbsp cumin An extra tbsp of smoked paprika 1 tsp easy garlic 1 tsp easy chilli An extra tbsp of tomato puree An extra 200ml of chicken stock I served it was rice. Admittedlty it's probably a little bit away from the original recipe but it was light, flavourful, easy to make, and everyone loved it.

To amend my previous comment... I have since realised there is a difference between smoked paprika and HOT smoked paprika... :) hence the query about whether it should have been tsps rather than tblsps... durrr! Still, it cleared the sinuses.

The kids done like mushrooms so substituted in a couple of red peppers along with a clove of garlic. The entire dish went down well served with pasta spirals and I will be making this again in the future.
