Thank you for this recipe - you deserve a blooming medal. So easy and so simple and so yummy. We make it once a week without fail (great for mid-week cooking when you've just got home from work). Our 2 year old loves it also.
Don't be tempted to add garlic to the recipe like me, it doesn't need it at all.
Only tweaks I make are that we use wholegrain pasta (orecchiette) and I add a mug of the starchy pasta water to the roasting tin with the pasta at the end (makes a little more sauce).

Simple and delicious.

So easy and always goes down well for a midweek dinner. I often stir in a couple of teaspoons of tomato pesto before serving.

Absolutely fantastic. So simple! Enjoyed by ages 2-41 at my house. Used home grown cherry toms as I was drowning in them and it was amazing. Will become a firm fave, although next time I will add more pancetta.

I tried it on Friday evening; when I had a few of my friends round for dinner. They loved it. It was ever so tasty (I used more tomatoes than the recipe called for - about 300 gms). It is also the easiest pasta dish you could ever cook.

Really quick to make and very tasty! I added red onion at the start of the roasting process and finished off with some rocket before I mixed it all together. Will definitely be making this again! :)

This was so easy to make and so tasty. We had never roasted asparagus before - what a delicious flavour and texture this gives. I used whole wheat penne. I couldn't find slices of pancetta, so I used little cubes of it instead, and it was really good this way.

Really quick and easy for during the week and very tasty. You can add whatever you want really - I had some brocolli left so cooked that in the water with the pasta. Also added some red pepper to the roasting tin. Didn't have basil and was going to mix a bit of pesto with olive oil and drizzle over until I realised the pesto was off, but even without this it was nice.

I made this and the whole family absolutely loved it!! Making it again this evening - It's a winner for clean plates and it's a lovely healthy option. I'm planning on adding some garlic to my next batch and green olives.

This is one of my favourite pasta recipes as its so tasty and quick for a mid week meal. I half the ingredients as there is only myself and my husband but I still use the 6 slices of pancetta as it gives it extra flavour. Recommend to any pasta lovers who work full time!!

Really tasty and really easy to do. Have made it twice now and used chicken thighs instead of bacon the second time. Delicious!
