Sprouts with sesame & spring onions

Don't save sprouts for Christmas Day - enjoy this light, crunchy stir-fry throughout the winter months

Method

  1. In a wok or large frying pan, heat the oil. Fry the ginger and Brussels sprouts, tossing to coat them in the oil for 5-6 mins, until slightly browned. Add a few tbsp water during cooking to stop them sticking if needed.
  2. Throw in the beansprouts, spring onions, honey and soy sauce, then stir-fry for 1 min. Sprinkle on the sesame seeds and serve immediately with extra soy sauce, if you like.

    Delicious, and so quick and simple. I also added sugar snap peas with the spring onions as I had some that needed using up.

    I found the recipe a little bit dull in the flavor. I added more soy but would still not recommend it.
