Slow-braised pork with green olives
Adding pasta to this stew at the end of cooking makes a brilliant one-pot meal

- Heat the oven to 160C/fan 140C/gas 3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large casserole then brown the pork all over. Scoop out of the pan add the onions then cook for 10 minutes until golden and caramelised. Add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Add the browned pork, rosemary, wine and stock, cover and cook for 2 hours.
- Add the olives and macaroni, stir well and cook for another 20-30 minutes, or until the macaroni is tender.

- 300ml chicken stock
- 12 green olives , bashed with a knife and stone removed
- 100g small macaroni
