Tip

If you like spice, add a kick to these potatoes by using hot paprika instead of smoked.

GREAT SUCCESS! Tried these last night. I didn't have smoked paprika in the cupboard so used ordinary and didn't have the parsley either, but they still turned out brilliantly. I am addiing this one to my potato repertoire because it is so quick, easy and tasty. Have a husband who dislikes both pasta and rice (rolls eyes), finding alternative potato recipes that are fuss-free is a real boon. Thank you GoodFood for this one!

I thought I was the only girl in the world with a man that doesn't like rice or pasta! Glad to know I'm not. Mind you, he's not overly keen on spuds either so will try this dish and hope that he will like it as we are so bored with the usual.

I just made these to go with dinner this evening. They were scrummy and soooo easy. I didn't have smoked paprika so just used the regular stuff and I added garlic puree to the mix.

I made them last night. Thought they were supposed to be crispy, maybe I used too much coating, but they had a gorgeous flavour.

Loved these ..... accompanied Lemon, herb & parmesan crusted fish ........... great partnership, everyone else did too. May be it's my oven (not the best) but I just might par boil these for 4 or 5 mins next time as I cooked for longer than said and they were just cooked.

Was looking forward to trying this recipe but was rather disappointed with the result. Needed much longer cooking time, almost further hour on gas mark 4! Maybe gas mark 4 was too low? When they were finally cooked through the taste was pretty horrible?! The only thing that made them eatable was, Tomato Sauce!!! Sorry, not very nice.

All the family like them which is amazing. Use garlic puree sometimes, different spices etc. Dont use the lemon. Have made them lots of times. They even keep well prepared in fridge in a covered container - cooking later.

These were quite good although I wouldn't rush to make them again. I did think the lemon and parsley added to the flavour though.
