This is a fanastic quick mid-week dessert though I have also served it at an impromptu dinner and had great revues. Last September whilst sailing around the Whitsundays it was even part of an evening meal! it is soooooooo easy.

Yeah this is easy and always well received. Use fresh raspberries (no orange juice needed) and top with four whole raspberrys. Nice adult dessert. Traditionally made with strawberries.

I made this for a dinner party. My inlaws liked it but me and my fiancé hated it. Not sweet enough at all. Won't be making again

Don't even think about doing this dish 'for later'; I tried that once and the meringues just melted! You could whip the cream in advance and put it in the fridge, then throw the ingredients together at the end.

Did'nt bother with the Orange Juice. I added some of my favourite liqueur or wine depending on what berries I used.Frozen mixed fruit (Red berry), which I blended, with a good red wine but berries not to mushy! I also used fresh berries for the topping, with a dusting of Icing sugar. The meringues, I've used shop brought, but prefer my home made quick baked.
