Is this recipe good for me?
There are three ways we can help you find the right healthy recipe for you - our nutrition per serving, healthy labels and search.
Nutrition per serving
You will find nutritional information underneath the method on the majority of our recipes. This will tell you about calories, salt, fat, carbs, protein and fibre.
Healthy labels
You'll also find additional labels on some recipes that appear above the method.
Superhealthy - means that the recipe is low in saturated fat, 5g or less per portion; low in salt, 1.5g or less; and at least one of the following: provides one-third or more of your daily requirement of fibre, iron, calcium, folic acid and/ or vitamin C or contains at least one portion of 5-a-day fruit or vegetables.
Low fat - means that the recipe has 12g or less per portion.
Good for you - means that the recipe is low in saturated fat and salt.
Heart healthy - means that the recipe is low in saturated fat, with 5g or less; low in salt, with 1.5g or less; and high in omega-3s.
Search
You can also refine your search using the plus and minus sign underneath the blue search box to give you a variety of options. Select one of the options from 'Search by diet' - it'll allow you to select calorie range and special dietary requirements such as low salt recipes.
