20th Birthday: Bake us a cake!

We've also challenged Good Food cooks - magazine readers and website fans - to make us a special cake to celebrate. Your response was overwhelming. We received hundreds of recipes and photographs when we launched the competition earlier this year.

Since the closing date, our cookery team has been busy deciding on a shortlist and baking the favourites in the Good Food Kitchen. It's a tough job, but we're enjoying tasting the results!

Our task is to come up with three finalists, whose cakes will be featured in the November issue of Good Food magazine, along with the winners of our two junior cooks category.

The final winner, to be announced at The BBC Good Food Show at The NEC in Birmingham in November, will receive £1,000 of KitchenAid goodies, including a fabulous KitchenAid Artisan mixer. The two runners-up will each win £500 of KitchenAid products.
