Sarah has been part of the Good Food team since 2004. As shopping coordinator she stays on top of kitchen consumer trends, bringing all the latest product news to Good Food's readers. A self-confessed gadget freak, Sarah tests on average at least 400 kitchen appliances a year, many for the magazine's on-test pages.
When she can be torn away from the latest breadmaker, Sarah also coordinates all Good Food's taste tests. For the Christmas issue this will include blind tasting over 30 mince pies, 25 cakes and 20 hams!
Cookery school enthusiast Sarah has polished her sauce-making skills at Tante Marie school of Cookery, made bread with Paul Hollywood and learned the art of the perfect steak at Le Manoir.
With nut and egg allergies in the family, Sarah is passionate about adapting and devising special diet recipes that everyone can eat. Her sticky egg-free chocolate cake is a much-requested favourite.
