Natalie Hardwick
The website team's newest member gets her love of food from her Italian ancestry and is a real ale aficionado.
Natalie joined the Good Food team from Emap where, under various guises, she wrote about trade and retail. She couldn't stifle her love of food for much longer, and moved over into lifestyle. She also freelances for the Guardian and writes for local press in her beloved neighbourhood of Hackney. Her path recently went, unexpectedly, down the route of blogging about real ale, and there's also a bit of music writing thrown into the mix, namely for BBC Music and various freesheets.
Her preferred cuisine is Italian thanks to her Dad and she has been known to eat two whole packets of spaghetti in a week. She is also very fond of pastry products, in particular Scotch eggs, in ode to her North Eastern homeland. Natalie does a little bit of everything for Good Food and is always first to the test kitchen when the opportunity arises.
