Elaine Stocks
Our deputy editor will go a long way for good food, but at the weekend she keeps it local.
Elaine Stocks, deputy editor of BBC Good Food magazine, spent many years working on national newspapers in London before moving to Sydney for two years. While there, she worked on the Olympics (and her tan) and developed her love of seafood and Saturday brunch outdoors.
Home and away
Back in Britain, she worked for Sainsbury's Magazine, then joined Good Food four years ago. Elaine is an enthusiastic home cook and an even more enthusiastic traveller (and eater), regularly heading back to Australia for fresh food inspiration. Closer to home, Saturday mornings are spent trying to shop locally.
