Bottle of XO

X.O cognac

Pronounce it: exx-oh con-yak

Created in 1870 for the personal use of Maurice Hennessy and his family and friends, X.O is a type of distilled wine and is widely considered the ultimate in luxury cognac. It is steeped with woody, spicy aromas. Hennessy X.O is blended from more than 100 eaux-de-vie (fruit brandies) from Cognac's finest growing regions and remains the 'original' Cognac for its timeless, balanced and complex flavour. Traditionally X.O is enjoyed after a meal however it is becoming increasingly popular to enjoy it 'on the rocks' (splashed over ice).
