Buying a present for the whole house is a great way of taking some of the stress out of Christmas, as it cuts out all those individual gifts and general shopping stress. If you combine your budget for the whole household as one big gift you can also get some really show-stopping results...

The chocolate package

Heading to a house where they appreciate a chocolate or two? Bring them the very finest of chocolatey treats and you're sure to be staying in a very happy household. Got a few little ones running round in circles? Throw in some classic milk reindeers and Santa Clauses for good measure.

The cheese
It's Christmas so it has to be Stilton - Cropwell Bishop cheese comes in lovely clay pot jars, which make pretty gifts and their cheese is delicious too. If you are expecting lots of family and friends as well as kids to be getting stuck in, you might want to have some fairly mild varieties to hand too, you can't go wrong with a Cornish Yarg, which is creamy and mild with a crumbly centre.

To round it all off perfectly, we'd recommend something soft and spreadable like a Caerney Pepper goat's cheese - delicious.
